The Syndicate underwrites all of the traditional classes of Marine insurance including hull, war, liability, cargo and specie. The account is focused on smaller and medium-sized businesses, placing great emphasis on the development of existing and new long-term relationships with key clients. The business is written exclusively through Lloyd's brokers.
Non-Marine

International and US Non-Marine accounts are also written through binding authorities and in the open market. This account focuses on non-Fortune 1000 business and seeks to develop long-term cover holder relationships.
Energy

The Syndicate writes an upstream and midstream energy book including control of well and liabilities. The account is international with a particular focus on developing exploration and production regions. The Syndicate offers technical leadership of Energy risks, supported by first class claims handling abilities.

A worldwide portfolio of Sabotage and Terrorism risks across a diversity of sectors with protection against Physical Damage and Business Interruption losses arising out of a terrorist attack is written.
Property Treaty Reinsurance (New for 2011)
This account will be split into three core areas, Property Catastrophe Excess of Loss (Xol) being the largest, Property Risk Xol and Property pro rata. All business will be considered by the Syndicate however the focus of the Property Catastrophe account will be International (non USA exposed business), although a limited amount of USA exposure will be written.
